Twenty years across software, electronics and hardware — the messy space between firmware and cloud, between what's technically elegant and what a customer will actually pay for. I've written the slicer and the machine firmware for the same 3D printer, and built a scanning electron microscope in my workshop.

Enterprise architecture for major European companies. AI model-serving platform for a top-3 Dutch bank; led a heating manufacturer's move from waterfall monolith to modular services, cutting codebase size by 70% and closing critical vulnerabilities.

2019 — 2021

Product Security Engineer — BD Rowa, medical automation

First hire on a new product security function at a pharmacy-automation manufacturer, clearing decades of debt that was blocking North American market entry. Static analysis and vulnerability scanning across 1M+ lines within two months, with no disruption to the release cycle.

2013 — 2017

Co-founder & CTO — CNC Brasil, industrial 3D printers

Principal engineer across mechanical design, electronics and software. Wrote the slicer, modified the machine firmware in C, architected the fleet health-monitoring platform. Sole developer at the start; led the engineering team by the end.

2012 — 2013

Product Engineer — Ledmidia, LED display hardware

Designed a high-data-rate panel interface from low-cost TTL logic to hit a hard cost ceiling, delivered in six months. The cost budget drove the architecture, not the performance ceiling.
